Scripture: Mark 5:21-43; Luke 8:40-56
FAMILY DISCUSSION
As a family discuss the following questions:
· What are some things that you pray about daily?
· Have you ever prayed for healing?
· How has God answered your prayers?
· How has God answered your prayers differently than expected?
Grab some paper and colored pencils. Make a list of people you know who need prayer this week and pray over them as a family. God hears our prayers, cares for our needs and hurts, and is always up to something good!
GOD’S EPIC STORY
This week’s Epic Bible Story is presented by Hillsong Kids:
Wonderings from today’s Epic Bible Story...
· I wonder why Jesus said not to tell anyone.
· I wonder what is alike about what Jesus did in these two stories.
· I wonder what is different about these two stories.
· I wonder how the crowd felt when they had to stay behind.
· I wonder how the families of the people who were healed felt and how their lives changed because of what Jesus had done.
EXPERIENCING THE STORY
Jesus did a wonderful miracle for Jairus because of his faith. The woman, because of her faith, was healed just by touching the garment of Jesus. Jesus cares about people. He cares about you. He knows our needs and has the power to give us what we need. We can trust in God because He cares for all of us.
Jesus is our healer. He heals our brokenness. He heals our sickness. He heals our relationships. Let’s return praise to Jesus for all He has done for us. As a family worship God through song and dance.

MEMORIZING THE STORY
Memory Verse: Philippians 2:10-11. “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
